They're funny plants when it comes to cuttings. They seem to be much slower to take than most, but the huge
amount of vigor Hawaii Skunk Hawaii 1 that is inherent in the breed means that the cuts don’t die- they just hang around and don't
do much. I took cuttings of my over-wintering mother which took about 3 weeks to take- during this time, the
cuts didn’t look ill, and didn’t grow, they just 'existed'. The mother plant doesn’t do well indoors- Uk Cannabis Seeds mine seemed
to get freaked out and started to flower. It flowered though most of winter, then suddenly decided to revert, I
don’t know why. The smoke is good- smooth, sweet, menthol/lemony. It has a lot of central and south American Sativa in its
ancestry. The high is long lasting and 'happy'- a day-time smoke. The buds are long and thin. I noticed two
phenotypes (ratio 14:2)- 14 plants had broad, long leaves, high vigor, high yield; 2 were much shorter
(finishing at 4-5'), more compact, started flowering earlier, but didn’t mature as well, more susceptible to mold,
thinner leaves. Some of the large phenotype flowered with pistils the color of pink-grapefruit.
Its not the easiest plant I've grown, and this may account for why its not more common, but its well worth it. It
definitely is mold resistant beyond any doubt. These plants get the yield from the size of the plant, not the
density of the buds, so try to ensure a good size by July, and DONT pinch it out. I'm hoping for 3 or 4 ounces

other ways. Fort claims that alcohol scores high on all of these dimensions; barbiturates
and the amphetamines are also extremely hard as well. Marijuana, says Fort, is probably
the least hard of the drugs available in today's pharmacopoeia. The fact that a truly
dangerous drug (alcohol) is legal and freely available, while the possession of a far less
dangerous drug (marijuana) is severely penalized, is patently absurd, according to Fort.
52]
Andrew T. Weil and Norman E. Zinberg, both physicians, after detailed controlled tests
on subjects high on marijuana, concluded that the drug is relatively safe, and its effects,
mild.53] James M. Dille and Martin D. Haykin—pharmacologist and psychiatrist
respectively, and both physicians—along with several nonphysicians, minimize the drug's
deleterious effects on simulated driving performance.54] And Tod H. Mikuriya, director
of the San Francisco Psychiatric Medical Clinic, in a pamphlet entitled "Thinking About
Using Pot," refuses to persuade readers not to use marijuana; he rejects the contention that
marijuana leads to heroin and states, with regard to psychosis, that "marijuana is
exceedingly safe."55] His advice to those who "choose to turn on" concerns
understanding how to use marijuana wisely. What is more, Mikuriya employs marijuana
in his therapy. In treating alcoholics, one of his recommendations is that they give up
alcohol, in his view the more destructive drug, for pot, which is far less damaging. It is
obvious that this doctor disagrees with the majority view on at least two points: (1)
marijuana no longer has any therapeutic value, and its use constitutes "abuse," and (2) it is
a dangerous drug whose use should be avoided.
Another medical figure, Dr. Eugene Schoenfeld, writes a column syndicated by a
number of "underground" (and invariably pro-pot) newspapers, such as The East Village
Other. His stance is usually skeptical concerning the putative dangers of marijuana. One
piece attacked the AMA's June 1968 statements condemning marijuana use, "Marihuana
and Society." The critique is replete with such phrases as "the AMA... has chosen ... to
ignore... ," "casting itself into the role of prophet the Council demonstrates its lack of
familiarity with the current American marihuana situation by the following statement ... ,"
"contrary to all known evidence, the AMA statement denies...." The review concludes
(18 of 25)4/15/2004 1:04:59 AM

with the claims: ". .. the scientific judgment of the AMA will now be looked upon with
some suspicion by the millions of American marijuana users ... the AMA would certainly
be surprised by the great numbers of medical students and young residents who
chronically use marijuana with no observable detriment to their physical or mental wellbeing."
56]
It is clear, then, that some physicians do not accept the dominant current medical views
concerning marijuana. They underplay i "GROW THE A-11 FIRST!!!, it is WORLD class smoke!!! But I have to warn you, after you have grown this cross

tremendous resin, its the crystally bud on the cover of the Cannabis Culture #18 (Steve Kubby header), and a

largest I have (not that that information has meaning, seed size has no relevance despite what mythology

superior in the BC Big Bud version. The leaves in the BC Big Bud variety are more sativa like.” – Marc Emery

Clone flowered under a 400watt, 42watts/sq.ft. Grown organically in a soilless medium, 1:1:1 ratio of GOOD
potting mix, perlite, & worm castings. Finished about 16"-18" tall. Nice high flower to leaf ratio, manicuring would
be a breeze if it didn't have so much resin globbed all over it. Nugs were dense for a 400watt, but not tight like
they are under the big lights. I flowered for 53 days, last 24 hours no light. I alternated Big Bloom & Hi-P fishes

They looked very much like the NL x Shiva that also came from Posi. To bad it didn’t take after the NL x Shiva

The one female was not very impressive grown from seed and turned herm. The buzz was acceptable but it
grew like chit. Very airy bud with little resin and a lot of leaf. The buzz made it worth keeping for a harvest from

though it still showed male flowers, not a lot but too many. The second time grown from clone it showed male
flowers again and didn’t improve much in quality or growth. So now it’s dead.

"AFOAF grew some (Apollo) recently and got an indica phenotype that finished around 50 days, and a Durban
phenotype that took 60 days.
The indica phenotype is very resinous, clear high. Not racy nor paranoid. Dense buds, low odor.
The Durban phenotype has a stronger high than pure Durban, very clear, very racy, even paranoid. Buds very
fluffy, and they flop over from their own weight. Definitely a creeper phenotype in the gene pool (Durban).
The mom of A-11 is Genius, an F2 of Jack Herer crossed to an unknown male (likely a Durban imho). The dad
of A-11 is Cinderella.
Genius expresses the NL and Skunk side of the gene pool. Cindy expresses the Durban and haze side.
imho, for the A-11 to have 2 phenotypes in the F1, one of which is fluffy, sweet, and floppy like Durban, means
that the Durban gene is in both Apollo and Cindy." - Zorro redient is in low
levels but does contribute to the high. When we mention THC levels,
we are talking about both delta 8 and 9 THC.
There are also other ingredients that add to the high such as
CBD, CBN, THCV, CBDV, CDC and CBL, but are only very minor
compared to THC.
The difference between THC levels and THC quantities is that
THC levels are genetic. They are not under the influence of the
grower. THC quantities on the other hand are. This is to do with bud
mass and how much resin can be generated in that bud mass.
Some bud may only contain 20% THC, with a THC level of 5.
The same plant grown under better conditions and light will produce
70% THC, with a THC level of 5. The ‘5’ is genetic. The quantities of
20% and 70% are under the grower’s control.
When examining a strain in a seed-bank catalogue one is
guided to check for the THC levels of that plant to understand how
potent the plant is. Many seed sellers and breeders measure their
39
plants THC levels and give accounts on how much THC their plants
have. Of course many breeders like to exaggerate on how much THC
their plants produce, but some do not. If you wish to know more about
THC levels it is best to consult your seed-bank or breeder for details.
No complete study of cannabinoids has been made public
since this book’s publication.
This is because cross breeding produces
so many different results that it is hard to keep track on what is
happening. Some 'old timer' strains are still around and have been
tested. This information can be obtained from the larger seed
production companies in Holland. THC testing is also an expensive
process that requires heavy amounts of research.
The other interesting factor is that some plants do not produce
any THC at all. These plants have been genetically engineered (GM)
to produce very low levels of THC and are mainly used by farmers in
some countries who have permission to grow cannabis for hemp
production ONLY. It is best to keep away from these seeds and strains.
They will not get you high. There is project called the PMP (potency
monitoring project) that is carried out by some government-funded
agencies, but the results are questionable.
